The Graduate Art Show is a platform dedicated to supporting emerging artists as they transition from university to the professional art world. Founded in 2022 by Professor Anand Saggar and Victoria Charlton, it showcases outstanding BA and MA graduates from over 40 UK universities through exhibitions at partner galleries.
Recent BA and MA graduates in any visual art discipline are welcome to apply. We accept submissions from graduates of UK universities and, in some cases, international institutions.
No. Submission to The Graduate Art Show is completely free.
Yes, we announce submission deadlines annually on our website and social media. Submissions typically open in spring and close in summer. Sign up to our mailing list to be notified of upcoming deadlines.
All submissions are reviewed by an international panel of volunteer judges including curators, gallerists, and established artists. Selection is based on artistic merit, originality, and the quality of presentation.
Selected artists are invited to exhibit at our partner galleries. You will receive detailed information about delivery dates, pricing, consignment terms, and catalogue requirements.
Our exhibitions typically run from autumn through winter. The specific dates are announced when the selection is confirmed. Check our website or follow us on social media for updates.
No. Selected artists can either deliver their work themselves during the designated delivery windows or arrange courier delivery. Delivery windows and full logistics information are provided once your work is selected.
Artists are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of transporting their work to the gallery and eventually return shipping of unsold work.
Specific consignment terms, including duration and commission structure, are outlined in the Consignment and Exhibition Agreement provided to selected artists. These details may vary slightly between partner galleries.
Yes. As the artist, you propose the selling price for your work. The gallery can provide guidance and examples from previous shows if needed.
