TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Eligibility
The Graduate Art Show is open to BA or MA graduates in Art from the current or previous academic year. Each participant may submit up to three original artworks for consideration in any medium, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art.
Selection Process
All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of industry professionals. Selected artists will be announced in advance of the exhibitions. All decisions made by the panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
Intellectual Property and Image Use
Artists retain full ownership of their submitted work. By entering The Graduate Art Show, participants grant The Graduate Art Show and the host galleries a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use images of their submitted works for promotional, editorial, archival, and publicity purposes in connection with the exhibition. This may include use on websites, social media, printed materials, newsletters, and other communications relating to the show.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be made through the official website by the deadline stated on the submission page. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted. All required submission information must be provided in full for an entry to be considered.
Exhibition and Sale
Selected artists agree to have their work exhibited at the host galleries during the exhibition period. All selected works must be available for sale. Artwork may be sold during the exhibition, with 50% of the sale price payable to the artist and 50% retained as gallery commission, before VAT. Unsold artwork must be collected within the collection period communicated by the galleries. The galleries will insure exhibited works for the duration of the exhibition period only.
Delivery and Collection
Participants are responsible for the safe delivery and collection of their artworks. The Graduate Art Show and the host galleries accept no responsibility for damage, loss, or delay occurring during transit, delivery, or collection, or outside the period covered by gallery insurance.
General Conditions
The Graduate Art Show reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Participation in the show constitutes full acceptance of these terms. If a selected artist fails to comply with the terms of participation, the organisers reserve the right to withdraw the selection at their discretion.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
